Job Description

The Rakuten Institute of Technology (RIT), an R & D organization that plays a central role in the Rakuten Group’s technology strategy, is looking for talented researchers and data scientists who have a strong interest in financial services.

-Always be sensitive to the latest financial news and research and development themes

– Define the research themes and issues to be addressed based on the requests and plans of the business

– Solve those problems Proposing / developing such solutions and prototypes, and in some cases, cooperating with other RIT researchers, solving problems, communicating closely with business and development members, and solving problems as needed Reflecting their requests and knowledge 

・ Supporting the introduction of researched and developed solutions to production services in cooperation with development members 

・Release solutions released as production services in some cases while also involved later, repeating the improvement

Rakuten Group Flop, E-commerce, finance, digital content, communication, etc., more than 70 to expand the service, has been used by many users. In particular, the financial sector includes a wide range of services such as the following, and continues to grow.

Financial Data Analysis Team (Financial Analysis Team) As a team that plays a role in RIT, we support financial services within the group from the perspective of R & D. Related technologies include data mining, machine learning, optimization, and financial engineering.

Salary revision twice a year (June-December)

Selection process

Document selection → Primary interview: Department member → Secondary interview: General manager of the composition department → Third interview: Managing director → Appointment
