Job Description

As a software testing engineer, we will design and develop automated tests and frameworks to further evolve the search platform that is the foundation of our services.

-Test design, implementation and improvement based on analysis and analysis of product specifications . As a result , feedback to developers, communication , analysis of daily test results, identification of program bugs and document defects, correction, follow-up until closing, development process, development with improvement of testing platform

The search platform is an indispensable foundation for dozens of services offered by Rakuten all over the world, and must meet demanding requirements not only in functionality, but in all aspects of data scale, performance, and availability. In order to meet these strict requirements, an advanced distributed system consisting of a large number of functional parts is required. 

The development process is backed by a vast number of automated unit tests, integration tests, and system tests, and these test results are shared daily with development bases around the world to drive rapid platform evolution. . To make this possible, the test platform as well as the test object must be carefully designed and developed carefully. 

This department designs and develops automated tests and frameworks based on the policy that automated tests are also software. Those who have both a knowledge as a software engineer and a knowledge of testing.

Salary revision twice a year (June-December)

Selection process
